Aweber Email autoResponder Integration with Squeeze pages

Aweber is one of the popular email autoresponder systems to build email list for making more conversion in sales funnel. OptimizePress offers a simple solution to integration Aweber with lead page templates. It has only five steps to finish the process.

  • Create new list in Aweber
  • Create Webform for the list
  • Configure the Webform settings
  • Get the Webform emebed code
  • Add embed code in Optimiizepress  template page

Create New List in Aweber email autoResponder

If you have account in Aweber autoresponder service then login to Aweber otherwise create an account in Aweber. Once you have logged in you will see the menu, in that navigation menu you have the tab called ‘My Lists’.

The Aweber autoresponder systems collect the lead page emails as list and manage the each list from different squeeze pages managed under my lists tab.

In ‘My Lists’ you have dropdown options to create new list for the OptimizePress lead capture. Just click on the ‘create new list’ option.

Now you will get into the list settings prompt on the screen just follow the instruction and complete the process. example consider your new list name is ‘Squeeze list1’. Now you have created a new list for the integration with OptimizePress Squeeze page.

Create Web Form  for the List in Aweber

Now in Step two create email capture Webform for the newly created list. For doing this go to Webform in the navigation menu and choose the list name we have created just now (squeeze list1).

Create Webform in Aweber

Now you will see the form design options on screen. Here no need to design the Webform because we don’t use this form directly in OptimizePresss squeeze page our intention is to get embed code for the Webform with necessary form fields.

Check the necessary form fields available in the Webform if not just add the fields using the Webform editor. Once the Webform created just save the form. Now click go to step 2 button in the web form page. It will take you to the configuration of the web form settings page.

Configure the Webform Settings in Aweber

The configuration of Webform has one important step called Setup thank You page URL for the web form.

Once the landing page visitor subscribed using the email autoresponder from iw ill ask for email conformation from Aweber. After the conformation from the subscriber the email is added to the corresponding email list and the subscriber are redirected to the thank you page which was given in the configuration step.

To setup Thank you page URL

First create a page in opmizepress  example named as ‘launch1’.

Now in the autoresponder Webform configuration settings setup the thank you page URL. Choose the thank you page as custom page by default it has chosen as basic version. If you have basic version of thank you page the integration with squeeze page will not work properly with OptimizePress.

Thank you page URL

Thank you page URL

Once you have chosen custom page add the thank you page URL as the page created in OptimizePress with an extension /?setuser=1199

Example thankyou page URL

Here launch1 is the name of the page created in OptimizePress installed site.

If you do not setup this step correctly your squeeze page gateway system may not function Properly

Once you have finished this step save your web form and click on ‘go to step3’ it will take you to get embed code for the created Webform.

Get Webform Embed code from the list in Aweber

After get in to the get autoresponder embed codepage you will see some options follow the procedure to get embed code.

1. First you need to click the option the optin “I Will Install My Form” button.

2) Now you will see two options one is Javascript code another one is html version. Select the Raw HTML Version option.

3) Uncheck the “Include beautiful form styles” checkbox at the bottom of the embed code display box

4) Copy ALL the HTML code from the code box. Make sure you get all the code by either right-click or copy, or use the Ctrl key + C keyboard shortcut to copy the code this will copy all the code from the box.

Now login to your OptimizePress install wordpress admin dashboard. Now edit the squeeze or lead capture page we have created in the site. Choose page attribute templates as squeezepage choose any one from the 19 different squeeze page templates available in OptimizePress.

Now at the bottom of the page editor you will have squeeze page option. Click on the optin options and choose the check box to activate optin form in the squeezepage. One you checked the check box you will see the setup options for the optin form like the below image.

Just add the copied embed code from the Aweber autoresponder to the box available in the optin options of OptimizePress. Once you have pasted the embed code inside the box.  It will automatically detect the entire required field below for the integration you will see with your sight Check it now

If necessary we can add extra field in the optin form used in the lead capture page. We can also use dual optin box for same lead capture page. This dual optin form can be useful when we have two different products promotion at the same squeeze page.

I rarely drop remarks, but I browsed through some responses here Aweber Auto Responder Integration with Squeeze Page.

I do have 2 questions for you if it’s allright. Could it be only me or do a few of these remarks appear like they are left by brain dead folks? 😛 And, if you are posting at other social sites, I would like to follow anything new you have to post. Could you post a list of the complete urls of all your shared pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
