Yes!. One WordPress theme has all the templates needed to setup and launch membership site which is OptimizePress WordPress theme. This article describes how we can use OptimizePress in membership site created with Wishlist Member plugin.
I would say the theme is definitely designed to target internet marketing as well as product launches using WordPress content management system. When it comes to product launches and membership site setup we don’t care much about the blog template which comes with OptimizePress membership site theme.
This OptimizePress theme mainly used to create optin pages, sales pages, members areas and membership site templates, etc. It also has blog template with basic layout.
The ‘blog’ template in OptimizePress comes up with content on one side, sidebar widget, and a horizontal menu. This will be more than enough for the promotion of membership site content via search engines. These blog templates helpful to add additional content to the membership site which will be shown to the non-members of the membership site.
The short answer is no, it’s not membership site script it has all templates needed to create full featured membership site. To create membership site using OptimizePress we need to have another important component called membership plugin. Wishlist Member is one of the most famous membership site plugin used by the wide ranges of WordPress users.
We can use Wishlist Member plugin or DigitalAccessPass and etc to create complete membership site using OptimizePress. OptimizePress is a vehiclewe can use (or dons of templates) to deliver our valuable membership content to the members.
With help of OptimizePress and Wishlist Members we can easily create membership sales pages (and sites), such as login pages, non member menus, member menus, membership confirmation pages, after log out pages, membership welcome pages and etc.etc.
OptimizePress only provides a template system for our membership site, but it does not provide the actual membership site protection or member management systems for this we need to have Wishlist Member plugin.
Once we bought the theme, we will have membership login in OptimizePress we will have a ton of training videos on how to set it up and configure it for membership site. In their training area, they have mentioned that if we are planned to use OptimizePress as a membership site template, they recommend using either the Wishlist Member plugin for WordPress.
The Wishlist Member plugin can be integrated with OptimizePress membership templates. Along with Wishlist Member can offer special features like the below list,
- create membership levels
- Protect membership site Content
- Members management
- setup membership payments
- Sequential content delivery for subscription based membership site
- and more
For the most important part, all we need to make our WordPress site work and function as a membership site using the two elements listed below.
Why we need OptimizePress? Why not just membership plugin enough?
Simple. Membership plugin used to get the functionality of the membership site in ordinary WordPress site. But OptimizePress makes the membership site a cleaner look and proper content delivery to the different membership levels.
we can easily create an entire website built to capture leads, presale the lead, close the sale, deliver the content to a user in a nice interface, create membership style pages with just a few clicks and of a special pages like a login page or payment accepted page.
Without the templates like OptimizePress, the membership plugins leave us up to create many of these pages. So we need to hire a designer in freelancing website and it cont thousands of dollars and our golden time.
To create full featured membership site we need to integrate Wishlist Member and OptimizePress in the WordPress site. Wishlist Member used to covert our WordPress site to membership site and OptimizePress used to deliver membership content with good look and feel. To integrate OptimizePress with Wishlist we need to have the following:

To do this, go into our custom menu in WordPress create a menu for WordPress membership site. we need to choose this menu in the membership site. Once in our custom menu, use the custom links box to create a logout button in the navigation menu. We can add the below URL in the custom link box
